Magura MT7 E Carbon Disc Brake for Carbon/Black

The Magura MT7 E Carbon Disc Brake is an e-bike-specific brake that features a proprietary carbon weave, the Carbotecture body, which is nearly twice as strong as carbon laminates, aluminum, or magnesium. The radial design master-cylinder/lever, the Carbotecture SL, incorporates an alloy 1-finger HC3 alloy lever blade and clamp, a flip/flop design, and an EBT or Easy Bleed Technology port on the reservoir.

The HC3 blade was designed in collaboration with Danny MacAskill, and the brake offers tool-less lever reach and bite point adjustment. The double-arch forged 4-piston monoblock caliper design features anti-heat, anti-drag, anti-squeal, and magnetiX brake pad system for easy pad replacement.

The Magura MT7 E Carbon Disc Brake utilizes a full hydraulic Magura Royal Blood mineral oil system with a 5-year leakproof warranty. The brake includes a flip/flop lever, a 2000mm pre-bled tubing kit, a 74mm post-mount caliper, an MC/lever, alloy hardware, tubing shortening bits, and a manual.

The brake is designed to work with 160/180/203mm rotors and adapters, which are sold separately. The compatible rotor options are the MU-8727-28 (Storm SL.2 rotors) or the MU-8720-24 (Storm HC rotors), and the compatible adapters are the MU-8663-8678.

The e-bike-specific features of the Magura MT7 E Carbon Disc Brake include a cutoff switch or brake light switch on the master cylinder, which provides an added level of safety and functionality for e-bike users.
